Waki is a Wonga Pigeon that came into my life and into our family 5 1/2 years ago. Lately I’ve become very interested in finding her essence and sharing her message with the world. She arrived in our family during a turbulent moment and she brought with her, powerful soothing and a promise that everything was going to be alright.
And it was. Alright, she was right. Everything turned out fine.
Her Wu Wei (sort of effortless strength from the Tao) created a moment of beauty that is impossible to forget. I have named her Waki from the Hopi language. Waki is a feminine name that means shelter.
To our family, her effortless action brought a feeling that our shelter was sheltered, for that we are eternally grateful.
